Stop right there 'cause I know what you're thinking,
but no, we can't be friends . . .

These days, I've wondered what the course of my life leads to. Simply put, I have aspirations to become one of the greatest and compassionate attorneys this world has ever seen, and, if possible, a decent politician, and God willing, husband and father. However, I was forced by good people to stop and take a look at who I am and my purpose for being here.
Identity, it's hard to define. And yet it's so easy. I'm 100% Filipino, my parents being first-generation immigrants from the Philippines endowing me with the opportunity that not many Filipinos have these days. And it's for that I should be proud of, where I came from and why I'm placed here. And so, why am I whining about stupid things? It's because I'm selfish and I can't judge pretty well yet. It's cool that I'm out seeing what the world has to offer but I'm still in that stage where more things are yet to be discovered and, with the frequent mistakes I've made these days, I only can look positively at the experienced person I might well turn out to be.
And I thank those of you who've given me great advice on life, whether it'd be circuitous or straightforward, all of you have allowed me to develop into a learned young man, so thanks a million!
