Man, I ain't changed, but I know I ain't the same . . .

It's been a while since I've written in this thing, hasn't it? These days I've been forklifting myself with schoolwork, athletic commitments, and hanging out with friends. Basically putting myself out there to get a life. And it sure deserves a lot of attention; I can't imagine what popular people do to keep themselves intact . . . I basically meant, "Man, popular people must have it hard for them." Yeah, that's what I meant. But, yes, I've been rather busy lately. And now I have to start numerous projects for different subjects and it's rather hard because it's definitely a push to what American colleges assign its students. I guess it's time not to slack off, ain't it?

The hockey and basketball situations are pretty interesting. I'm meeting a hell of a lot of new people and it's fun, but it has its shortcomings. Even though I'm a ryuugakusei, it's hard to draw up some attention because the freshmen are basically why the clubs are flourishing with excitement. Not that I'm looking for attention. I have to admit that it is fun, too, because it proves that I'm not the worst, but well down there, hahaha, but that I do have some status when it comes to the club. Fortunately, I've had good reputations so far and I hope to the Lord that I can keep it that way.

School began a couple of weeks ago, and we're expected to get the ball rolling early on. I seriously don't mind that, it's an undoubtedly big challenge, but at times it can be stressful, and my will can be weak sometimes. I get impatient for the weekend to come and then I end up saying that I could have done so much with my week. Hopefully I'll get rid of that attitude. It's not the reason why I'm playing so many sports and doing my homework (or as much as I can) at the same time. I'm doing my best to catch up and just settle down with my schedule so that there'll clearly be time to relax.

"Life is what happens when you're making other plans." (Lennon)

And that's what I seem to overlook. So I'm asking all of you to root for me on this one. I'm stubborn, impatient, and [insert negative-worthy adjective]. Hockey's a club, basketball's a circle, and both expect my presence each time. Let's hope nothing terrible happens this semester, eh?

Oh, I went to Kyoto. Took at least thirty pictures. If you want to know or see them, e-mail me at bjeramos@gmail.com or facebook me. Peace out!
